What is Social Practice Art?

"Social Practice" refers to an art medium which focuses on engagement through human interaction and social discourse. People and their relationships are the medium rather than a particular process of production. Socially engaged art aims to create social and political change through collaboration with individuals, institutions and communities in the creation of participatory art.
